I initially joined Spring Health as a provider to establish and grow my private practice. Spring Health caters to therapists’ needs with the essentials of a great practice, such as a large pool of clients, an EHR, a scheduling system, and worry and hassle free payment.

Frequently Asked Questions
Spring Health providers must have an unrestricted license to practice psychotherapy in at least one state and ideally, multiple states (Psychologist, LCSW, LMFT, LPC, LMHC, etc.). We are not able to accept applications from anyone requiring licensed supervision. In addition to active mental health licensure, providers must have a minimum three years of post-graduate experience with at least one year of post-licensed experience, and have training and experience in evidence-based modalities of care, such as CBT, DBT, EMDR, ACT, CPT.
Outside of the United States, Spring Health Global providers must be a graduate of the Mental Health degree program required within their jurisdiction and must be licensed, certified, accredited, or registered at the highest designation offered in their jurisdiction for their discipline. Providers must have three years of continuous and chronological statement of work history by resume, curriculum vitae, or applications, and must pass global sanctions and criminal database checks.
Our providers include licensed psychotherapists, psychologists, psychiatrists, internists, and family practitioners. We understand that one size does not fit all, and we welcome a range of areas of expertise (including anxiety, PTSD, and more), specialties (such as LGBTQ+ identity), genders, ethnicities, and spoken languages.
Each provider goes through a detailed interview process, a full credentialing package, and a background check. During onboarding, each provider is trained in clinical guidelines, measurement-based care, video etiquette, and Spring Health technologies. Providers can onboard and see their first patient in as little as 14 days.
Compass by Spring Health is an easy-to-use electronic health record (EHR) made by clinicians. Unlike regular EHRs that mainly focus on billing, Compass lets mental health providers and Care Navigators work together in real-time to track how patients are doing over time. With built-in tools like scheduling, billing, and clinical notes, it makes life easier for providers and cuts down on administrative burdens.
