We’re happy to announce that Dr. Mill Brown is taking on the role of Chief Medical Officer here at Spring Health.

Mill has been a member of our team since 2020, as Senior Vice President for Medical Affairs. He’ll now be joining the C-Suite and taking on an even broader leadership responsibility, to ensure we deliver the best possible outcomes and impact for all our members.

“This new role is a reflection of two important things,” says Spring Health President and Cofounder Adam Chekroud. “First, Mill has done an outstanding job as SVP for Medical Affairs. He’s been a driving force in our progress to date, and we know he’ll only continue to drive even greater impact going forward.

“Second, as we continue to grow and serve more people, we are and always will be driven by science, research, and medicine.”

Mill is board-certified in adult and child psychiatry and medical informatics, and spent 21 years in the Army before joining Spring Health. There, he built out a new integrated system of care and served in several key roles, including as Deputy Chief of the Army Behavioral Health Service Line.

Mill was the clinical lead developer of the Behavioral Health Data Portal, which has been used to track clinical outcomes in over 8 million encounters, and is now used across all Army, Navy, and Air Force behavioral health clinics.
